Written on a Rock
Written on a Rock is a fictional murder mystery/romance with true historical facts about Georgia landmarks. Set in Elberton, GA, the granite capital of the world, the characters introduce the reader to the Georgia Guidestones, Dutchy, the Old Elbert Theatre, and the Granite bowl where the Blue Devils play football. Dee Dupree is reluctantly drawn into the murder of a young girl who had been missing more than forty years. Lou Aronica, President, The Fiction Studio, says, "Written on a Rock caught my attention immediately. Martha Phillips has created a compelling, layered story that fascinates and informs. An exciting read."
Carved is a sequel to Written on a Rock where the fictional story takes the characters to the Georgia coast. With the help of a clairvoyant nine-year old, tree carvings, and a local sculpture in Neptune Park, a creepy villain is found. Is it too late to save a kidnapped child?
